running times improving 3 months after ablation

I had my last ablation on may 17th, and I feel healthier than I have in years, even though the procedure was unsuccessful. I have one or less tachycardia per week, and I am able to push myself harder while running without having a heart event.

Before my last procedure, I would never see a pace faster than 10:00 per mile. If I tried to run that fast, I would feel alot of stress (like someone was holding me underwater) and could feel that a heart event was imminent. After a minute or so, my heart rate would spike to 220-250 bpm, and I would have to stop and do a vagal maneuverer or I would get dizzy and feel like passing out.

But now, I can safely push that pace a bit, so I think I am as slow as a 60 year old man, not an 80 year man now. :)
